A Tree of Poems and Story: Sharpen your creative skills! Take this 10-session enrichment program that will hone your poetry and story writing in easy-to-follow steps. You will write a variety of poetic forms: acrostic, concrete, limerick, and poetic devices such as personification, metaphors, similes, alliteration, and rhyming couplets or quatrains. You will also rewrite or write a different ending to your favorite stories, or write a simple but fun story of your own following guided activities. You will work with a partner to make the work easier and more fun!
What’s more, you will write your short poems on a leaf template and create your own tree of poetry and story. Have fun this summer and take this enrichment program!
